Notes from the May - June 2009
Tour of Ireland, Scotland, Scandinavia and England

London, England - June 26

Isaac Newton measures the world

A very modern structure

A neat scene - this gal just stopped by and was pounding out a tune

This is where the best of the best were displayed, including a Gutenberg Bible,
Shakespeare folios and the Magna Carta. (No photos)

A major exhibition on Henry VIII was mounted in the Library. Many letters, paintings,
formal documents and dislays were presented within multiple rooms in the Library.
Very impressive - a highlight

St Pancras railway station

After a short walk and a bus ride,
lunch and a pint at the Museum Tavern, just outside the British Museum
