London, England - Saturday June 27
Final full day in Europe - First up is Westminster Abbey,
then a boat tour on the Thames - using the London Pass
and finally a tour of the Royal Observatory at Greenwich



Westminster Abbey - the histories of the church and of England are intertwined.
Kings and Queens are crowned here, state funerals are held here and royalty is buried here.



29 kings and queens are buried here, among 3000 tombs. King Edward the Confessor,
Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Mary I and King Henry VII are buried here, as are Mary Queen of Scots,
and a number of poets and writers, including Geoffrey Chaucer.
No photographs were permitted inside.




The City Cruises boat ride is included in the London Pass.
We embarked at Westminster bridge.
