Outside Catherine`s Palace, we had blinis for lunch



Kenith and I had potato and mushroom and I also had a ham and cheese. Apple blini for dessert.

Peterhof Palace and Grounds - The Grand Palace
After lunch, we traveled on a very congested two lane highway in the rain for one hour to get here.

The landscaping is exceptional, as would be expected




A series of palaces and gardens, laid out on the orders of Peter the Great,
and sometimes called the "Russian Versailles", is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.





Reservoirs behind the Grand Palace provide the water and pressure for all the fountains (no pumps)
