 What do you like the most about our community/region?
  The desert - Native peoples
  Small town
  Small community feel - Does not feel like a huge city
  Sense of community
  Sense of community = better public transportation
  Sense of community - (events, organizations)
  Relax - laid back
  Re-design of Downtown
  Population size - feels like a community
  Neighborhoods
  It's not Phoenix
  It's diversity: ethic/cultural

  South Tucson is geographically segregated from Central Tucson by income and race/ethnicity
  Public for urban youth
  Neighborhood cohesiveness - sprawl (density)
  More farmers markets one in each neighborhood
  More farmer's markets and bookstores in the south of town
  Ideologies against diversity. This is an issue present in many matters. Minority groups
  Downtown cultural centers Tucson style = small town feel
  City cleanliness (streets, buildings)
  Change of attitude of people who want big city attractions but maintain small town feel i.e. downtown hotel and improvements
  Change and stop overt attitude of hate and intolerance directed at specified groups of people trickling in

  We're all human, but we don't treat others as humans
  Sameness + new ideas; diversity = new ideas, interesting
  Makes people feel more comfortable with own identities

  More support for public education
  Language in schools needs to change

  Greater investment in progressive public education

  Better school funding especially southwest/west Tucson

 What do you like the most about our community/region?
  Don't have to get on a highway to get most places
  Bike friendliness - bike lanes - winter weather
 What do you most want to change or improve about our community/region?
  Road conditions
  Public transportation (of real quality and really public)
  More pedestrian crosswalks between city blocks
  Drivers - slow commute; not good drivers
  Bicycle road - dangerous bikers
  Better traffic management - timing of lights - not linked to lights (e.g. Crosswalks on Euclid by U of A = dangerous) - buses not stopping on main streets blocking traffic

  North part of Town - peace of the north part of town. Peace: Quiet (silence)

  Hiking/mountain and canyon parks, i.e. Sabino

  More parks, exercise and bike paths in all parts of town
