Theme 1. Transportation
 What do you most want to change or improve about our community/region?
  Transportation whole system improvement
  Transportation system Public transportation
  Traffic congestion
  More accessible public transit
  More "city centers" in different parts of Tucson
  Lack of freeways or ease of cross-town traffic movement
  Bike Lanes/Trails : better quality and quantity
  Better public transit
 Why is this important? How does this affect you?
  Weather great for biking, but not safety and quality and quantity of bike paths need improvements (examples - Speedway)
  Want to be more efficient getting there. More time doing/less time driving
  Living streets - local organizations for bikes - get involved
  Improve quality of life
  Improve environment - less cars
  Experience various modes of transportation
  Difficult for kids without cars to get places
  Bus stations and stops are not use friendly
  Always having to drive creates a sense of isolation, (loneliness and fear) - joke

  Sprawl
  No vision for Tucson

  Neighborhoods and municipalities fighting their own turf wars - no cooperation or regional vision
  We study things to death
  Take opportunities to communicate your ideas
  Isolation of individual interest groups - individual vs. community
  Individual level support of local businesses
  Facilitate community conversations
  Element of isolation in neighborhoods and lack of community identity for Greater Tucson
  Disorganized municipal management impedes progress

  Relates to keeping young in Tucson - urban entertainment, want a vibrant downtown
  Parking lots and buildings don't feel safe

  This is probably The Most Important Plan
  Need to put into action steps for the above
  Need a regional water use plan
