Notes from the May - June 2009
Tour of Ireland, Scotland, Scandinavia and England
London, England - June 23 On this Tuesday, we resumed our Original City Tour with the Green Tour north to Trafalgar where we hopped onto the Purple Tour to see more of London. (Kenith yanked my arm to keep me from getting run over by a turning two decker bus on Horseferry Rd.) From the tour bus, this is the Prince Albert memorial that Queen Victoria had built in 1875. |
Piccadilly Circus |
We passed quite a few live theaters of renown - here is the Gielgud Theatre |
Interesting hotel architecture |
At significant stops, Original City Tours had agents available to sell tickets. |
Many corners had pubs with gold lettered names and flower pots. |
